LUIS SEGUÍ, MUSIC DIRECTOR
Long time linked to “Associació Musical L'Avanç” Luis Seguí has been music director of its senior Wind Band since 2005. This community ensemble offers concerts and musical activities to the town of El Campello in Alicante embracing all kinds of audiences and music lovers. Over all these years Luis has programmed a vast array of repertoire including original wind band music as well as transcriptions and own arrangements of classical, film, musical, pop and traditional repertoire
Consolidated as a group specialized in the traditional music of the region, L'Avanç embarked in 2013 on its third recording dedicated to this music: “Música per a unes festes”, this time conducted by Luis and including his own compositions for the genre.
