Playing the piano part in the premiere of Alexis Soriano's outstanding chamber opera, Malcolm X, a Portrait
My first time participating in the Alborada Clásica Festival in the beautiful city of Salobreña, in southern Spain. It was an honor to be invited by Alexis Soriano, the renowned conductor and composer, to premiere his new chamber opera playing the piano part.
And what a pleasure it was to accompany Rosa Torres Pardo the day before, singing Sondheim's hit "I'm Still Here," the song that closed the new show "New York Chronicles," with texts by Ricardo Llorca and music by numerous American composers.
