celesta/pianino: bernstein’s 2nd symphony ‘the age of anxiety’

‘The Masque’ movement written only for percussion, harp, bass and celesta is always a challenge to play; and the offstage pianino was a beautiful effect.

Bernstein's rarely performed work featured an impeccable soloist in Josu de Solaun's magnificent performance, and our clarinet soloists stood out in the intimate beginning.
